Dalhousie to Coober Pedy

Return to Homepage

After another morning swim in 430C we made our way to Oodnadatta for a bite to eat, then on to camp in the Painted Desert. This really is a remarkable spot. The next day we arrived in Coober Pedy and booked into an underground motel, and Elli and Mitchell went through an old mine, and an underground house. Incidentally, there are signs all over this part of the world provided by the Pink Roadhouse, drawing your attention to spots you might otherwise drive past.
